Mr Wayne Halfpenny BDS MBBS FDSRCS FRCS FRCS (Maxfac)
Consultant
Mr Halfpenny is a Consultant in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has over 20 years experience in the speciality. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and member of the Association of Facial Plastic Surgeons. He is the NHS Trust lead clinician for Head and Neck Cancer/Reconstruction.
Mr Halfpenny's main clinical interests are minimally invasive salivary gland surgery, temporomandibular (jaw) joint disorders and facial reconstruction.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of Surgical Dentistry including wisdom tooth removal, complex extractions, dental cysts (apicectomy) and lesions of the mouth.
He has published over twenty peer–reviewed papers covering all aspects of the speciality.
